Toxicity Class: WHO III, Slightly Hazardous.
Properties:
- A modern, broad-spectrum insecticide belonging to a new chemical family (Anthranilic Dimide). It works by contact and ingestion, combating all larval stages of Lepidoptera and partially controlling the eggs of some harmful insects.
- Works by secreting calcium inside the insect, which causes muscle weakness and paralysis within hours of exposure to the pesticide. The insect stops moving, including feeding, and dies within 1 to 4 days of exposure to the pesticide.
- Not affected by rainfall after 1 to 2 hours of the dried solution.
- Used as a part of an IPM program.
Directions for Use:
- Mix the required amount with a little water, stir and then add it to the spray tank where it is mixed again.
- Used as a foliar spray once every 14 days depending on the severity of the infestation with no more than 2 sprays per season.
- To avoid the development of resistance to the active ingredients, replace the pesticide with another pesticide having a different IRAC number.
