Product Description

Toxicity Class: WHO III, Caution.

Properties: Flare is a non-systemic, preventive and curative fungicide for controlling gray mold and monilia-fungi on many fruit trees and vegetables listed in the table of use.

Directions of Use: Add the needed quantity of Flare to a small amount of water and mix well then add to the water in the spray tank while stirring, to be used on the same day of preparation.

 Warning:

  • Flare should be used in accordance with the instructions on the label.
  • Animals and herds must not enter treated areas.

General Recommendations:

  • Pressure: 40 PSI.
  • Spray droplet size: 200-400 microns.
  • Lance: Soft open.
  • Average spraying rate per hectare: Approx. 1,000 Liters (more or less depending on leaves volume).

Environmental Hazard & Acute Toxicity: 

  • Non-toxic to birds & bees and medium toxicity to fish.
  • Harmful if swallowed.

Compatibility: Compatible with most commonly used pesticides (insecticides and fungicides) and fertilizers and it is preferable to conduct a small test before spraying.

Stability: The sprayed solution remains effective for one week at pH 5-9 and 25°C.

Storage: 

  • The pesticide shall be kept sealed in its original packaging.
  • The pesticide shall be kept away from the reach of children, pets, food, drinks and feed.
  • The pesticide shall be kept in a cool, dry and well-ventilated closed place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight.

Precautionary Statements:

  • Read the label and follow the instructions carefully.
  • Wear protective clothing before using (apron, gloves, goggles, masks and boots).
  • Avoid skin, eye and mouth contact.
  • Avoid inhaling spray mist.
  • Must wash wands, face & body after using and before eating, drinking & smoking.
  • Avoid spraying when windy or possible rain.
  • Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this pesticide.
  • Must remove clothing immediately after using it to be washed and clean clothing should be worn.
  • Do not apply directly on water or areas with surface water or near it.
  • Avoid contaminating ponds, surface water, ground water and grazing areas with the pesticide or its empty package.
  • Sprayers & spraying tools & equipment must be cleaned after using and make sure not to contaminate water.

First Aid Instructions:

  • In case of eye contact: Wash well with clean water for at least 15 minutes and contact lenses should be removed (if any) and call a doctor if necessary.
  • In case of skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing, wash skin with clean water and soap and call a physician if necessary.
  • In case of inhalation: Carry or drag victim to fresh air and lay in a comfortable position to breathe and call a physician if necessary.
  • In case of swallowing: Give the injured person a sip or water if able to swallow. Must not vomit without the supervision of a physician. Do not give anything through mouth if unconscious and a physician should be called.

Toxicological Information: 

  • Antidote: Unavailable, treatment is carried out based on symptoms.
  • Re-entry Period: Do not enter into treated areas for 12 hours.

Disposal of empty packaging: Empty containers should be disposed of in a safe manner and must not be used for any other reason and should be disposed according to the scientifically considered methods.
