Toxicity Class: WHO Class IV, Unlikely to present hazard in normal use.
Properties:
- Multipurpose, highly effective systemic fungicide against a wide range of Oomycete diseases, such as Pythium, which infects seeds, plants, roots, trunks and leaves in tomatoes and ornamental plants.
- Proporid belongs to the carbamate class, and characterized by its effect on strains that have acquired immunity to fungicides belonging to other classes.
Directions for Use:
Add the amount of Proporid to be used with a small amount of water and mix well. Then add the needed amount of water in the spray tank while mixing the solution.
The application of the pesticide should be immediately after preparation which helps to ensure that it is in suspension.
Used either by mixing with soil when planting or through irrigation systems:

- Directly used after plantation on tomatoes and ornamental plants.
- One to two applications/season by respecting a minimum interval days (7-14 days).
General Recommendations:
- Pressure: 40 PSI.
- Spray droplet size: 200-400 microns.
- Lance: Regular flat-fan nozzles
- Average spraying rate per hectare: Approx. 1,000 Liters (more or less depending on the leaves volume).
Environmental Hazard & Acute Toxicity: Low toxicity to birds, bees and fish.
Compatibility:
- Compatible with most commonly used pesticides.
- Incompatible with alkaline liquid fertilizers
- It is recommended to mix Proporid with water then add other pesticide before mixing
Storage & Disposal:
Store the pesticide in its original container in a safe place out of the reach of children, food or feed.
Precautionary Statements:
- Wear protective clothing (apron, gloves and masks).
- Avoid skin and eye contact.
- Avoid inhaling pesticides.
- Do not apply when windy.
- Do not eat, drink or smoke when using this pesticide.
- Do not store unlabeled products.
- Do not apply near water, storm drains or drainage ditches
- Do not decant into another container for resale.
- Flushing the sprayer with a detergent solution at the end of the workday will help to ensure a clean sprayer and trouble-free operation
First Aid Instructions:
- Remove the injured person from the exposure source of pesticide & call a Physician immediately.
- Harmful to humans if swallowed, inhaled or contacted with skin or eyes and should avoid contaminating water sources.
- In case of eye contact: Wash well with water for 5 minutes.
- In case of skin contact: Wash skin and hair thoroughly with soap and water.
- In case of inhalation: Carry or drag victim to fresh air immediately. Loosen victim’s tight clothing. If the victim’s skin is blue or the victim has stopped breathing, give artificial respiration (if you know how) and call rescue service for help. Open doors and windows so no one else will be poisoned by fumes.
- In case of swallowing: Immediately call a Physician or take the injured person to a specialized center. Give the injured person a glass or 2 of water if capable of swallowing, do not force the injured person to vomit, gastro lavage should be performed and it is recommended to prescribe the activated charcoal sulfate.
Toxicological Information:
- Antidote: unavailable, treatment is carried out based on symptoms. Physicians should not recommend Atropine.
- Re-entry Period: Do not enter into treated areas for 24 hours.
