Najjar’s agronomists work in the field with growers and agri-pharmacies across five field units

Diagnosing pest, disease and nutrition problems on site

Recommending programmes that rotate modes of action

Following crops through the season

Spray programmes are planned around pre-harvest intervals and harvest dates, including for growers supplying export markets.

What a field visit covers

  1. Diagnosis on site

What the pressure actually is, before anything is bought. Symptoms on a leaf can point to a pest, a disease or a deficiency, and the three are treated differently.

  2. The programme

Which products, at what rate, in what order, and how they rotate between modes of action so they keep working.

  3. Timing

Spray intervals planned around pre-harvest intervals and the harvest date, so the crop can be picked when it is ready.

  4. Application

Water volume, pressure, droplet size and coverage. Most products that are said to have failed were applied badly, not chosen badly.

Send a photo first

Most questions start with a picture. Send a photo of the leaf, the pest or the damage with your crop and your region, and an agronomist will come back to you. If it needs a visit, we will arrange one.
